#AskTheExpert Hi dr My daughter is 15 months old. She doesn't want to eat or drink. If I give her forcefully, She just keep in mouth nd doesn't swallow it or chew it. How can I teach her? pls suggest

Good Growth of the child is very important and for this most important is that child should take a healthy diet where its necessary to give a balance diet which should contain all the nutrition required. This is very important for building the immunity also.
Encourage for green vegetables fruits dairy products all kinds of dal and other protein containing food items like soyabean eggs etc.
Some nutritional deficiencies can be a cause for less appetite like iron deficiency which is most common.y
Supplements like iron supplements and multivitamin wifth lysine like syp zincovit CL can be given for 1-2 months to increase the appetite.
Diet counselling is also very important .

try developing the food interest have meal together add variety and creativity to plate check the first cry page for receipes
let the baby have his own meal
start with vitamin supplement as Zincovit or syrup A to Z consulting your pediatric
