Q.

#asktheexpert Hi Dr, I am seeing fluid discharge in my daughter's ears. It is not coming out but we can see it in the ear canals. I had ruptured eardrums since i was 2 years old. So is my daughter having same issue. Should i be concerned about it?

A. Hi mom This is ear wax. U can clean the ear from outside using soft cotton cloth. Do not deep clean inside the ear canal as it can hurt your baby. Get ur baby ear clean from doctor. If ur eardrums were ruptured, that does not indicate same for the baby. So no need to worry
