#AskTheExpert hi doctr my 5 month old daughter do green potty every day with lots of effort .. is it ok or theirs a problem ?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Green coloured Motions are normally seen in babies and commonly it may be due to less feed intake , or ,formula milk feeding.
if the baby is passing motion frequently in a day and the colour of the motion is ranging from light yellow to dark green or brown it may be considered as normal in such a case only frequent feeding and exclusive breastfeeding is suggested.
If it is associated with mucous, are watery and have bad smell then there could be some infection, also so if there are any other associated problem like fever ,vom#yiting then you should consult your doctor .

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children3 years agoA. good morning it is a matter of concern whenever there is a green tinge in the motion it is an indication of the fact that the child is having some kind of infection it may be something as simple as cold
