#AskTheExpert hi doctor.. yesterday morning he cried before poop... then we gave sugar water .. then blood came in his poop... later he played all fyn.. again he pooped with lil blood... afternoon pooped again with very lil poop.. we gave all fluids.. coconut water etc .. is this any serious

A. hi usually it happens because of fissure that is caused by constipation . please keep your child well hydrated. offer natural probiotics like fresh curd buttermilk banana etc to your child. give fiber rich food like green leafy vegetables, tomatoes soup, prune juice, fruit like pear papaya plum banana etc to your child which makes digestion easy. you can give warm milk with 1 tabsp of ghee avoid giving bakery food. maintain good hygiene
