#AskTheExpert hi doctor when i breastfeed my daughter i feel so much pain in my breast nd when she starts latching it feels like pumping my breast nd it starts bowing nd in 5-10 mins it. Get so hard like a big stone nd pains aot what is it ?? Please answer

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. very important to see that position and attachment while breastfeeding the child is proper.
if improper the child will continue to suck for long hrs without getting any milk
meet lactational counsellor who will guide regarding this.
see videos on you tube for breastfeeding position and attachment.
take plenty of water, home made diet, seasonal fruits and vegetables, milk for increasing breast milk for yourself.
take 15 to 30 days weight and growth assessment by the doctor.
is attachment is not proper then pain can occur
