#asktheexpert Hi doctor, my daughter is nearly 6 months old. she is having dry skin and as we live in a high altitude region, her skin has become so flaky and thick. a pediatrician suggested GPCORT ointment. but no visible difference is seen. could you please help and advice about yow ro care for her skin. is almond oil good for dry skin?

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 11 m old boy4 years agoA. Hi mom Coconut oil is very good for dry skin. U can apply coconut oil on the skin before giving bath to ur baby. Then apply cetaphil baby lotion after giving bath to ur baby. It will help to moisturise the skin leaving it soft and smooth.
