#AskTheExpert hi doctor.. my baby is one month old. she is feeding well. breast fed. she used to pass stools around 4-5 times in a day but since yesterday she has passed only once. but she is passing gas. is it normal ? and is it normal that she still remains active for only around 3-4 hrs a day apart from the feeding time?

A. Newborn babies do pass 8- 10 times stool or once in 5-6 days are normal variation for this age .So don't worry if she is passing urine frequently, taking feed properly and active.No medication will help & is not needed also.
