#AskTheExpert Hi doctor. my baby is 50days old. She is not pooping since last 4 days... what should I do?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Constipation seen in smaller babies specially below 8-10 months is very common and conserning . Avoidance of formula milk is required and cow's milk too should not be given before 1 year of age. In the diet avoid giving banana ragi and packed food Iron supplimentation can also cause constipation . Enzymevvf preparation and stool softener are required if symptom are more and causing discomfort .

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 3 m old girl3 years agoA. hi nothing it is normal infact,it is normal for babies to not pass stool upto 7 days. so , don't worry just feed your child on demand burp your baby well after each feeding give massage to your child everyday using Babyhug massage oil.
