Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. for big children it is important to increase the physical activity of the child during the daytime and also see that the child is drinking plenty of water and is having a good diet just before sleep but at the same time the diet should be easily digestible and not very heavy diet which is causing more gas formation because that also can lead to digestion problem problem and that can disturb the sleep.
also it is important to look for any environmental disturbance which is affecting the sleep like temperature variations as well as the mattress problem

At This is a child to sleep a minimum for 12 hours if your child is sleeping for that much time through the day then that’s good enough and even for minimum 10 hours if your child is managing to sleep then that’s good if your child is not sleeping for that much time also when you should get it checked once with your doctor to know the correct reason behind it
