Q.

#asktheexpert Hi doctor, my baby is 1 year. He has very little hair on his head. At birth there was no hair at all. But now hair has grown a little but it is very scarce and bit thin. I'm so worried. Pls advise. When can I expect thick hair growth?

A. hi j its perfectly normal for infants to lose hair upto 6 months of age. all hair in infants are in different growth phases. it will take variable time, sometimes even 2 yrs to grow head full of hair in babies. so don't worry. .
