Q.

#asktheexpert hi doctor My 3-month-old baby is not drinking milk properly she falls asleep within 5 minutes. At night she sleeps 4 to 5 hours continuously even if I wake her up for milk she takes only one side and falls asleep. Also my podiatrist suggested that I feed every 2 hours once but she doesn't drink at all. Is it normal?

A. The thing that you talk about when you say that I should feed the child every two hours that’s for initial 30 to 60 days after that it is suggested that you should only feed your child on demand as that is something that you definitely need to take care of because if you over the child and the vomiting issues are going to increase also at the same time I’d like to tell you that if your child is sleeping constantly for 6 to 8 hours that is completely alright you don’t have to feed the child by forcefully waking up the child
