#asktheexpert Hi Doctor, I am 8th Month pregnant now, since last week I am having cough and little cold. I have consulted my doctor and she prescribed Augmentin 625 DUO for 5 days, now I have completed 5 days course and still there is some cough and cold, it is not completely cured. One of my friend suggested to use Ambrolite S syrup 5ml 2 times for 5 days. Is it safe to use Ambrolite S syrup during my 8th month pregnancy, please advise.

As you are pregnant and in the 8th month please consult with your respective gynecologist regarding whatever medicine you are taking and the course of the treatment and do not take any advice from other people
as any medicine can be dangerous at the moment so please consult and take with your gynecologist only
