#AskTheExpert Hi doctor From past few days I noticed that my breast milk supply was low. But baby is passing urine more than 15 times a day. I’m on confusion that my milk is sufficient for baby or not? Pls clarify the doubt.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 7 m old boy3 years agoA. in first six months the minimum weight gain should be 500 mg per month and it can go up to 1 kg per month also. the urine output should be more than 6 to 7 times per day. the child should sleep after taking feeding. meet the doctor for weight assessment.z if the above criteria is achieved then the child is having adequate milk intake.z if the growth of the child is proper there is no need to worry about the sleeping pattern/ feeding as well as the stool frequency of the child
