#asktheexpert hi docter, my son completed 3 months and now for past 1 week he is keeping his hands in mouth and sucking too much.... what do we need to do pls suggest

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. Sucking is a natural reflex in newborns that helps them to feed. In some babies and children this reflex can develop into thumb sucking or sucking other fingers, which is a normal, comforting behaviour for young children. It can help them self-soothe, feel secure and help them go to sleep.
