Q.

#AskTheExpert Hi Doc. My daughter is now one year completed. Her growth is very slow. She is now 63 cms in height and weights abount 6.5 kgs.. I have done all the body test which doc recommended but there is no issues in anything. I am concerned about her growth. There was issue in growth when she was in her mother womb... The water got dried up for 1 and half month she didn't grow in the womb... Do u think that is the reason for her slow growth..

A. do not worry just keep giving calcium rich diet Vitamin D3 supplement for the baby After 1 year of age you can gradually start giving everything which you cook as a part of family meals. It should be easy to digest nutritious, less oily and less spicy for easy digestion by the baby. Include seasonal fruits and vegetables also. They not only provide with the necessary multivitamins and nutrients but also with fibre. Keep baby hydrated and try to provide some probiotics like curd buttermilk yogurt . These keep the digestion good you can also give nuts like almond cashew walnut
