Q.

#AskTheExpert Hi doc , i am a mother to a 4month old baby . I think that my milk supply is not increasing with his increased demand as when I pumping the milk from breast pump (electric) i am seeing very less output . What can I do to increase the milk supply ? What time is best to pump so that we get the most output? is it good to pump right after feeding?

A. Your breasts are naturally fuller earlier in the day, so the morning is a good time to net more milk. On days when you're with your baby, squeeze in a pumping session around an hour after you nurse and at least an hour before the next time you breastfeed
