#asktheexpert hey doc, my daughter was born on 1feb, due date was 24 feb. Yesterday her weight measured 4kg. The health professional denied to give her vaccines for 6 week milestone saying: 1. She should weigh 4.5kg 2. Her 6 weeks shall be counted from the expected date of delivery i.e. 24 feb Please suggest

Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and as your child doctor has evaluated your baby and not to give baby vaccination as baby weight is less as per doctor. So better to follow doctor instructions as doctor knew the exact health condition of your baby and can guide you better.
