#asktheexpert hey doc my daughter is 7 months old....she has running nose from yesterday... please suggest what should I do

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. This may due to either allergy or infection and some times due to climate changes and temperature variations .
For cold you can give syp allegra 2.5 ml twice daily to the child.
try to prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops frequently for nasal blockage, simple cough and cold. Indirect steam is helpful.
Home remedies like Tulsi Ginger diluted with water combination (honey can be added after 1 yyear age)and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day.
Give wfdarm water to drink
If no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor
paracetamol for fever and pain.

Sinarist you can give this medicine to the child and drop three times in the day with a gap of 6 to 8 hours that’s how you can maintain along with that you can give steam to the child indirectly twice or thrice in a day depending upon the situation that is there
