#asktheexpert Hello, what should we do for hiccups in newborn??

A. my baby is 1 month 24 days since 2-3 days she is sleeping more than 17hours waking up for feeds.pee n potty are normal is it a growth spurt or should I worry about her sleep cycle

A. it is important to do regular burping for 15 to 20 minutes and that will help in decreasing the gas from the stomach and that will help in decreasing the hiccups in the child because hiccups occur due to gas in the stomach

A. Hello ma’am You need not do anything for it because it is not any issue that your child is having it is very natural even adults have a hiccup so even kids are weak up so there is nothing to be worried about for the same you would actually cannot do anything about it any which way so just let it be it is just going to settle down on its only
