#AskTheExpert Hello sir, My son is 7yrs old. He has cold for the past ten days . Now and then he is getting fever( less that 101). got it on day 1 , then day 5 &6 and then again on day 9. Fever reduces with a dose of paracetamol. He get head ache along with fever. Otherwise he looks fine. what may be the reason?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given.
along with that cough expectorant and decongestagcnt with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.
