#AskTheExpert Hello sir, My son is 6months old. He is having hairfall problem. why is that happens? Also when he was born, he used to have lots of hair, but now we can see that his hair gone thin. How to overcome this?

A. Newborn hair loss is perfectly normal and nothing to worry about. Babies often lose their hair during the first six months. This kind of hair loss is called telogen effluvium. Here's why it happens: Hair has a growth stage and a resting stage.
