A. baby spitting up clear liquid is normal in most cases. When the liquid is clear, then it is saliva, but a translucent white can be formula or breast milk. In both the case it is normal. Keep your baby in an upright position after feeding. Remember to always burp your baby Watch what mother eat. Sometimes certain foods, like spicy foods, cause your baby to have more gas. As a result, they might spit up more often.
