#asktheexpert Hello Sir my baby's age is 26 days from day of born his eyes are in yellow the white part of the eye.. He also went photo therapy wen I visited last time doctor said he is free from jaundice. but still looking at his eyes I'm worried about. kindly suggest regards lavanya

there is always a chance of neonatal jaundice in small children within one or maximum 2 weeks of birth in which the skin as the eyes may appear yellow.
you have to meet the doctor for evaluation of the jaundice.
normal simple jaundice will go away on its own with only breastfeeding but if it is more your doctor will advise phototherapy.
the yellowness from the eyes may take around 1 to 1 and half month to totally go away.
