Q.

#asktheexpert hello sir, my baby is 10.5 month old. ..he walks with support. but can we give him Walker. I heard from someone is that it delays walking in babies. is that true? and one more he didn't get teeth till now. we are giving ultra d3 1ml and calaqua-p 5ml

A. yes to avoid. it is not advisable to use walker for children because many times the child may fall from it causing grievous injury. it does not help in any growth milestones of the child and many times can cause delay in the walking milestone of the child. the child doesn't learn to wxalk because the child feels that they have to move around in the walker itself so will not make an attempt to walk push walker can be used but walker in which child sits in centre needs to be avoided
