#AskTheExpert hello sir ..my baby got vaccinated on 14th this month and fmgot swelling on leg we putted hot water in cotton is it ok for baby??

A. no, do cold fomentation. lump where the injection was given which disappears after a few weeks can occur. If the shot site has Redness, swelling, and tenderness where the injection was given than do Consult your paedritician.

A. Apply ice pack on the injection site: Soon after your baby gets a vaccination shot, the site of the injection might swell and get inflamed causing immense pain and discomfort. To ease the pain, apply ice-packs gently on the site. This will help her counter the pain and soothe the inflammation.
