#asktheexpert Hello Sir. I have a premature baby of 27weeks. He is 5 months old now. When is the suitable time to start weaning? What all foods are to be given?

A. Till 6 months complete only breastfeeding or formula feed should be given. after completing 6 months you should start with water along with Dal water and rice water only in continuation with breast milk . this helps maintain good digestion in babies after completing 7 months you should start with Semi solid food like vegetable soup for fruits purry and then slowly move on for solid food so that the babies digestion remains good
