Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Covid vaccination like covishield/ covaxin in the breastfeeding mothers can be given very safely . According to the latest guidelines issued by healthy ministry pregnant women can also be now safely given the current available vaccines . so they can also register at covin app. Minor complications like fever lethargy pain at injection site can be handled safely by taking paracetamol . Presently childcxren are not included in this list. Mothers can feed their child as soon as required after the vaccination very safely with no side effects in the child

Yes If you do not have any kind of side-effects after taking the vaccination like fever or body pain or anything else and you can continue feeding your child but if you even one percent of side effects and avoid feeding the child otherwise your child will also suffer with some
