#AskTheExpert hello my baby boy is 4 month 8 days .exclusively breastfeeding him.His heamoglobin level came 9.2.what to do does he need supplements. if yes could you suggest us?

Nandita BaranwalMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Hi, You can give iron supplements but I would suggest to give after consulting paediatrician only. Otherwise you can wait till baby completes 6 month and then start giving beetroot juices. pomegranate juices etc. Continue breastfeeding till 6 month exclusively and don't forget to burp after every feed.
