#asktheexpert hello mam/sir my son is about 2.5 years old 2 years before we observed his belly button swelling we consulted his pediatrician he said it is a kind belly button harniya and don't worry it will b gone till the baby become 4 years. it is not troubling and baby have no any health issue. we are very tens about it. please give me any suggestion.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. most of the times the belly button which is protuberant is umbilical hernia will become normal by the time baby will be 2 years better consult a paediatric surgeon for advice
