#asktheexpert . hello mam, my son is starting his 6th month from today. but he can not seat yet is this normal or I have to do something wich can make him able to seat.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. sitting without support and crawling in children may sometimes come after one year of age also.
if the growth of the child is proper no need to worry. just take care of regular diet and baby massage which will help in strengthening the muscdles needed for sitting and crawling.
in some cases crawling may be absent in children and directly the child will begin to stand with support and later walk wdith support and then without support.
take a medical check up done to confirm if there is need of any intervention.

oh it's too early to expect it
babies Learn to sit at the age between 6 to 10 months
so just wait and watch
give enough play time
give gentle massage with Babyhug massage oil everyday
