#asktheexpert Hello mam, my baby Yuvaan is 4month old and his one leg shakes for 1 sec. it happens 3 to 4 times in a day. we observing this past 5 days and he has cough cold. is it normal ?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. shivering in newborn can be due to startle reflex and less likely due to calcium deficiency. kindly continue to give breastfeeding to the child and take a video of the shivering and meet your doctor who will tell you whether it is normal startle reflex or it is due to hypocalcemia.

please don't try homemade remedies
apply Babyhug rapid relief rub on chest and back of your child which help to cure Cold and cough
dress your child in weather appropriate clothes
keep the room temperature moderated
