#asktheexpert Hello mam, my baby Yuvaan is 4month old and his one leg shakes for 1 sec. it happens 3 to 4 times in a day. we observing this past 5 days and he has cough cold. is it normal ?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 7 m old boy2 years agoA. shivering in newborn can be due to startle reflex and less likely due to calcium deficiency. kindly continue to give breastfeeding to the child and take a video of the shivering and meet your doctor who will tell you whether it is normal startle reflex or it is due to hypocalcemia. meet Dr for examination
