#AskTheExpert Hello mam..my baby is not taking bm more than 5min..she pees n poop more than 10 times a day...is that much bm is sufficient to her??

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello, your baby girl is newborn and she use to latch only for 5 minutes at a stretch so if your breast milk flow is very good then it’s very normal

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr old girl4 years agoA. Hi dear good evening Some babies don't poo even upto 10 days. If baby is active and healthy and if taking feeds well then no issues. If baby doesn't po for more than a week or ten days then you should see your doctor for further analysis. Feed your baby every 2-3 hours once during the day time that's more important and also during night hours feed every 4-5 hours. Night hours it's fine to leave baby sleep for a while.
