#AskTheExpert hello mam during twin pregnancy nipt test can detect that one baby have down syndrome?? my double marker was normal and nt nb scan was also normal but in tiffa mention tat 2 vessel appearance of umbilical cord...my gynaecologist say it shows down...

A. Having only 2 vessels may or may not be associated with anamolies. If NIPT test was done usually it will show if there are any anomalies in the babies. Consult a fetal medicine specialistWrite Your Answer Here

A. yes. better to show to a specialist and get the right opinion as soon as you can. In such cases you can talk to a doctor and get some blood tests done to reach to a conclusion
