#AskTheExpert Hello, I am 8 weeks pregnant and from last 4 years I got positive for Toxoplasma IgG and Negative IgM.which seems i developed immunity and it will remain positive whole life. Do i need treatment for it during pregnancy?

A. If you have an active infection then it should be treated now itself and depending upon your parameters and values they will decide if any treatment is required during pregnancy or notWrite Your Answer Here

A. I had Done Blood test report in the beginning of pregnancy. The report is like that, ToxoIgG is 12.6 ( 0 - 1.6) ToxoIgM is 0.06 ( 0 - 0.5)
