#AskTheExpert Hello Experts, My baby has dry skin only in his ear canal and it peels off and comes out automatically, is this normal and how to fix it?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 9 m old boy3 years agoA. kindly apply moisturizing lotion (atogla / cetaphil / physiogel / oilatum) or virgin coconut oil on the skin of the child 4 to 5 times per day and if the problem still continues for more than two weeks then meet your doctor. do not apply any type of cream lotion or powder which is causing allergy on the skin. meet dr if not improving

Manali K MehtaMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Hi parent it's ok you may use dry towel to clean the area properly you may take help of your pediatrician as well please make sure the soap doesn't penetrate the ear drumsticks
