#AskTheExpert hello dr.. post my delivery which is 9 mths now my period is very heavy as i have to change in 2 hours this is the third cycle so how many mths this will be like this

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. then get scan. Well, this looks ok but avoid self medication. try giving proper diet n don't miss on dose in this. see more you can ask your own treating doctor. i am sure they will solve all your doubts and guide you

Vaishali TanwarMom of a 8 yr 3 m old boy3 years agoA. Generally due to delivery there is more weakness and Nutrition loss in your body. Causing irregular periods. Also brestfeeding has effects on periods.
Periods may start after one and half month
after delivery or not even till one year after delivery. And remains irregular for about 1 year. So not to worry about it. Just have proper sleep with good nutrition. Use proper contraceptive method.
