#asktheexpert hello dr my son was vaccinated at private hospital when he was 6 weeks old. Now for 10th week and afterwards vaccination can I take him to anganwadi or government hospital? Is this safe for my baby?

A. you can switch but it is always advisable to continue the type of vaccination that you started in the private. vaccine is very important to increase the immunity of the body. very important to complete the course of vaccination which come before 5 years of age because this is the age group in which children are prone to vaccine preventable diseases. contact your doctor who will tell you which vaccines are important for your child and which vaccines are optional. optional vaccine only depends upon the immunity status of the child as well as upon the endemic diseases of your area
