#AskTheExpert Hello dr ! My son is 2 yr 6 month old… From past few days he is having hard stool… plz suggest something to make it normal…. He don’t eat fruits at all

A. dear mum, fruits are a must for your child. Give enough amount and frequency of top food for bulk formation. important to include fibrous food like variety of seasonal vegetables, green leafy vegetables and fruits, carrot cucumber , beetroot, papaya, apple, peach banana, prunes whole fruit is better than fruit juice grated and soaked dry fruits Like black currant , prunes, date , figs, nuts like almond, walnut give whole grains like daliya, whole pulses, beans, sprouts avoid refined grains, biscuits and frequent use of bread. encourage at least one hour of outdoor physical activities as it relieves constipation.
