#AskTheExpert Hello Dr, my baby was in the NICU for the first 35days of his life...how do we ensure that he grows well and achieves milestones like the normal babies..also please suggest any websites/book for taking proper care of my little one

A. very important to give only exclusive breastfeeding for the child and you should meet the pediatrician every month who will take the weight growth milestones assessment of the child and tell you whether everything is within normal limits or not and complementary feeding has to be started after completion of six months of age of the child

A. Ma’am If a child is in an ICU in the beginning time of the life does not mean that your child is going to have some issue don’t worry about it just monitor the milestones of your child by completing the age of 3 to 4 months your child is able to roll your child is able to react and respond to sounds that means your child is growing up well because that’s the first milestone for a child
