#AskTheExpert Hello Dr My baby boy is 8 months old and his weight is 6.8kg Is this normal please suggest food for weight gain and for hair some areas of his head is bald.

Hi The weight of the child is quite less according to the age it should have been somewhere around 7 to 8 KG as of now so it will be advisable to give a high rich protein diet to the child that would definitely be helpful in balance it with fibre diet in terms of vegetables and fruits
