#asktheexpert hello Dr my baby boy is 50 days old and continuous from birth he passing motions 6,7 times ..but till now it increases upto 20,25 times a day..some motions more watery and some motions in small amount π€

Passing motion 20 to 30 times a day at 50 days old is quite high and may indicate diarrhea or an infection, especially since it has increased from 6-7 times since birth. Frequent loose stools can lead to dehydration, which is serious in young babies. Itβs very important to take your baby to a pediatrician as soon as possible for evaluation. Meanwhile, keep your baby well hydrated with breast milk or formula and watch for signs like lethargy, fever, or reduced urine output. Immediate medical care is necessary to diagnose the cause and start proper treatment.
