#AskTheExpert hello dr. my 3months baby boy go potty for once in 3-4 days is it cause any problm please tell me.

ExpertDr. Pandurang sawantPaediatrician4 years agoA. No problem if baby is passing adequate urine.
If baby is active and playful, no fever, passing adequate urine ie. minimum 6-8 times per day, then no need to worry for motion
( once in 7 days or 15 times
per day- both conditions are totally normal.

No, it does not cause any problems.
Constipation is common in néw born babies. No need to worry. Babies can go without poop for 5-6 days altogether and even more. Breast feed babies are rarely constipated.
If ur baby is active and playful then no need to worry.
