Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. a baby will start Sitting with support by 6 months of age and by 7 to 8 months baby will sit without support than by 9 months usually baby crawls and in 10 months baby will stand with support.
After 12 to 15 months babby will start Walking independently and sometimes it may take even longer but in no case any Walker should be avoided as it can cause recurrent fall injury and delay in the walking because the child lacks confidence of walking independently.
POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. Potty training typically begins around 18 months to 3 years of age when children have developed better bladder and bowel control and can communicate their needs effectively. Starting potty training too early, such as at 7 months old, may not be developmentally appropriate or effective. Most babies at this age are not physically or cognitively ready for potty training. It's best to wait until your baby is showing signs of readiness, such as staying dry for longer periods, showing interest in the toilet, or being able to communicate when they need to go.
As for making a 6-month-old baby sit, yes, you can support your baby in sitting with assistance. By this age, many babies have gained enough head and neck control to sit with support. You can place pillows or cushions around them for support and sit them in a slightly reclined position to help them balance. Always supervise your baby closely while they're sitting to prevent falls. As they grow stronger and more confident, they will gradually learn to sit independently. Remember, every baby develops at their own pace, so be patient and supportive as they learn new skills.
