Q.

#AskTheExpert hello dr, i had a c-sec when i gave birth to my child and now i was trying yoga asana to reduce extra fat on my body. but i started doing butt exercises like danushasana the it paining on my lower back and abdominal muscles area..should i do yoga or the light exercises after c sec delivery.

A. you should start with brisk walk only and slowly switch to jogging or running . eat low calorie diet. reduce your sugar and fat intake. drink lukewarm water. avoid sitting for prolonged hours

A. Hello ma’am You didn’t mention when did you have your delivery so it’s quite a? For me but anyways I would just say that if you have delivered it 6 to 8 months back then you can start with light yoga exercises and if You delivered long back then you can go for any kind of yoga exercises but for that you do need to consult a specialist in Yoga who would help you do best exercises which will help in reducing down your abdominal and back pain also
