Q.

#AskTheExpert hello Dr, I am 34 weeks pregnant. yesterday I had growth scan and got to know my amniotic fluid levels are very low like 4.6cm. I am really worried is there a possibility to increase my fluid. my gync asked me to use sachets for 10days and let's see what happens. please suggest what can be done?

A. Hello, your question is related to your pregnancy so if you are pregnant at 16 weeks gestation and your amniotic fluids is less than normal for the gestation then go asper your gyaenecologist

A. it is important to follow the instructions and medicines course given by your doctor for the problem . they are safe if given by registered medical practitioner. do not undertake medicines or medical procedures not prescribed / guidedf by the doctor. take a follow up in few days if it is not improving for need of treatment modification

A. Hi dear Take sachets prescribed by the doctor Drink plenty of water around 2 litres per day, also take other liquids like coconut water, buttermilk, nimboo pani, fresh fruit juice etc to increase AFI
