#AskTheExpert Hello Doctors. Good morning ! My twin daughters are 2 years and 3 months old .They feel so much itching in both ears .I think during the bath soap water goes inside then it happens. I took them to doctor and he suggested to do ear wax removal .Just need to know is it safe to go for ear wax removal for 2 yrs kids or any drop you suggest which can help taking out complete wax . Main cause of an itchy ear canal is soap or other irritants. Soap or shampoo can get trapped in the ear canal after showers.
It may be habit to pulling ear..
Ear wax, ear infection, may be reason for it ..high fever, start to wake up from sleep, excessive crying in that case kindly do Consult ENT specialist.
