#AskTheExpert Hello Doctor, What are the best ways to store the breast milk and also how to use the stored breast milk. And also is it fine to give pumpkin puree to my 7 MONTHS 15 days baby boy

A. Yes it’s safe to give pumpkin but give cooked pumpkin and you can serve with little curd to the baby as it becomes a complete meal for the baby and you can store breast milk at room temperature around four to six hours and in refrigerator around 10 hours and keep the milk feeder in warm water to bring it to room temperature before giving to baby

A. in refrigerator up to 24 hours in glass or steel vessel Mother's milk is complete food for the baby . The initial portion is watery that takes care of hydration and the later portion that is creamy and rich in facts will provide then necessary nutrition. So there is no need to give even water . Try to exclusively breastfeed the baby for first 6 months after birth.
