Q.

#AskTheExpert Hello doctor !! Today I visited dermatologist (as referred by my gyneac) due to fungal infection in the vaginal and anal area. After examination she prescribed me Zimig 250 tablet and KZ cream for application. Now when I googled the medicine it is mentioned that it is not safe in pregnancy. So i cross checked with doctor again and she said that it is safe not to worry.. Now am confused about what to do?? whether i should take the medicine or not. Please advise...

A. Siri I would say two things first of all you can never trust Google for all these things and also to strictly suggested by the government not to search about medication is online because whatever information you get is not hundred percent correct and doctors who have taken education for so many years would know much better than Google does Swati you should just go ahead with the doctor suggestion because she has anyways told you know after cross checking that you can go for it
