#AskTheExpert Hello Doctor, My son is 8 months old. when I tried homemade cerelac of rice and mixed cereals, he gets hard poop since 6 months. When tried plain rice, plain Ragi, he is extracting the wastes very easily and poop seems normal.. Should I be waiting for some more period or continue giving the cerelac so that his intestines get used to it? Please advise.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. Give mix pulses n cereal cerelac after few weeks or give it with fiber rich veggies and fruits. offer well cooked, soft, semi solid food.
Give sips of water after giving it.
