Hi doctor my baby is of 4 months , when can we start giving cerelac and which is good cerelac or home made cerelac with few cereals ?

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. Breast milk is the recommended source of nutrition for infants, especially during the first six months of life. Its better to wait till 6 months by that time baby's bowel will be mature enough to accept semi solid foods!

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 3 m old girl4 years agoA. hi as a child is 4 months old only ,it is advisable to offer breastfeeding only. After completion of 6 months age , you can start to offer semisolid food to your child. so you can offer homemade cerelac only after 6 months age.
